Shane Warne is a former Australian cricketer, widely regarded as the greatest leg-spinner in the history of cricket. Shane Warne was one of the best spinners ever produced by the game of cricket. He died of a heart attack on 4 March 2022 in Thailand.
Warne was a right-arm leg-break bowler. He breathed new life into the bowling style of leg-spin, which was dying, and made it an integral part of the game.
His ball which dodged Mike Gatting in 1993 is considered to be the greatest ever bowled in the game of cricket.
He was the highest wicket-taker (708) in Test cricket till December 2007, which was later captured by Sri Lankan bowler Muttiah Muralitharan.
He has been named the Wisden Cricketers of the Year twice in the Wisden Cricketers Almanack and has also been voted the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World twice.

He made his international debut on 2 January 1992 in a Test match against India. He has taken 607 wickets in 263 innings of 145 Tests. He also scored 12 half-centuries in 199 innings in the lower order.
The best bowling figures in his innings were 7/81. He scored the highest 99 runs in his Test career against New Zealand. He retired from international cricket in 2006 after playing his last Test against England.

• In 2013, he was fined $4500 and banned for one match for his obscene language and inappropriate physical contact with Marlon Samuels (West Indies) and for showing disagreement over the umpire's decision during a Big Bash League match went.
• When he was playing for Hampshire in 2000, he was accused of sending obscene messages to an English nurse.
• In 2006, a nude photo of him with two 25-year-old models during a county match caused havoc after his wife Simone filed for divorce.
Shane Warne's Death
Warne died of a heart attack on 4 March 2022.
